Adam Black is a founding partner of Balmer Black, P.C. and has experience representing clients in a wide array of legal matters. Mr. Black represents entertainment professionals, startups, consumers and non-profit organizations.
Prior to co-founding Balmer Black, P.C., Mr. Black worked for a boutique commercial litigation firm based out of New York City, and then successfully started his own law firm based in midtown Manhattan; which has now merged to form Balmer Black, P.C. Mr. Black also served as a judicial extern in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage.
Mr. Black completed his undergraduate studies at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science. While attending Bloomsburg University, he was a member of the Political Science Student Association and Phi Sigma Alpha, a national honor society. Mr. Black attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he was a member of the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law and a recipient of the Outstanding Associate Editor Award. Currently, Mr. Black is licensed to practice law in the State of New York, the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. Additionally, he is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Black is also a member of the Bloomsburg University Alumni Board of Directors.
